Average rental price
The average price of rental housing in Spain increased by 3.1% in the first quarter of the year, which put the price, as of March 2016, at 7.24 euros per square meter per month.
In 2015, the rental price began to increase after eight years of generalized falls. And in the first quarter of this year (2016) a total of 11 autonomous communities have been able to appreciate the increase.
Average price of the house
The average price of housing in March 2016 stood at 1,628 euros per square meter. According to the INE, in April a total of 23,607 mortgages were signed with an average amount of 108,354 euros, representing an increase of 24.6% compared to the same month of 2015.
