Pros and cons of glossy ceilings
The main benefits include:
- high ability to reflect the light flux;
- excellent water resistance. PVC film is not only not afraid of moisture, but also does not let water through. This material is so durable that it can withstand more than 100 liters of water per 1 square meter;
- antistatic. Thanks to this quality, dust and dirt do not stick to the ceiling surface.
But the disadvantages include:
- fear of low air temperature. Under such adverse conditions, the product may simply crack;
- lack of protection against mechanical damage by sharp objects. PVC film is quite fragile and in contact with sharp objects or abrasive substances, they can tear or deteriorate.
